We’ve been working remotely from our clients since 2003, and along the way we’ve tried and tested a number of methods for making working together seem just as convenient as having someone at a desk in your office. You might have to do a little bit more than just shout, but we’ve tried to make our systems as close to calling from the next room as we can make it.
1. We make it easy for you to contact us or to delegate to us. You can telephone the office at any time during working hours and your request will be handled promptly. We use Skype and it’s possible to message or arrange a video call with any of our team.
2. When you sign up you’ll be given a login to our online project management system and also a dedicated email address that you’ll be able to use to assign tasks. You can expect to get a response quickly to tell you that each request has been received and how soon it can be actioned. You’ll be able to track what’s happening to your requests at all times, you can communicate with us and set deadlines – and the view of the tasks we give you will help you stay well organised at the same time.
3. Our preferred software systems are cloud based. Our project management software and book-keeping software, if required, is included in our fee and you have full visibility of your records. We can also recommend cloud-based CRM software and email marketing systems to which all have access. For other file sharing we use Dropbox (or Google Docs if you prefer it) so that you are looking at the same files as us at all times, also minimising the emailing of large files.
